Supervisor John Jenkins

Supervisor John Jenkins (Neabsco District) passed away on February 6 after an illness and with his passing, the Prince William Lassie League has lost a true friend.

Supervisor Jenkins supported the PWLL in every way imaginable for most of the league's existence and for considerably longer than any of the PWLL's current parents, players or staff have been involved with the league.

He attended countless of our functions and ceremonies over the years, was well-known for throwing out the first ball at opening day each season, and in 2009 was inducted into the Prince William Lassie League Hall of Fame for his ongoing support of and service to the league.
